Allergic contact dermatitis from vitamins: A systematic review

Certain vitamin derivatives have been manufactured and added to many cosmetic products due to their antioxidant characteristics, which has increased the prevalence of allergic contact dermatitis (ACD) cases. In order to gain understanding into the function that at least certain vitamins play in sensitization, the current review may be useful. It may also suggest potential patch test alternatives for accurate diagnosis. The majority of vitamins used in topical preparations can cause allergic responses, with the exception of vitamins B2 and B9, according to recent studies.
