Provision 7809/2022: GMC Resolution No. 48/21 "MERCOSUR Technical Regulation on labeling for personal hygiene products, cosmetics and perfumes" issued

GMC RESOLUTION No. 48/21 enters into force which repeals GMC Resolutions No. 36/99 and 36/04. The Resolutions sets out the mandatory minimum labelling requirements in both primary and secondary packaging for personal hygiene products. Apart from this, the resolution covers specific warning or use restrictions to be labelled for different product types. It also provides the overview of the product label attributes.
