On July 28, 2022, Indonesia published the finalized amendment to Technical Requirements for Cosmetics Ingredients. The amendment contains 231 newly prohibited and 17 newly permitted ingredients in the national chemicals Inventory. The notifiers (businesses) who are already issued a cosmetics notification number before July 28, 2022, must comply with the revised requirements by July 28, 2024.
