Taiwan plans to revise the self-change inspection and registration items for special-purpose cosmetics.

In accordance with the regulations outlined in "Cosmetic Outer Packaging, Containers, and Labeling Regulations on Labels or Instruction Sheets," cosmetics that are manufactured or imported after the 1st of July, 2024, are required to no longer bear the markings "ingredients and contents for specific purposes" and "license name," and all ingredient names are required to additionally bear the marking "full ingredients." For each application, the names of all of the components should be included, as well as the amounts of those ingredients' contents, in descending order from highest to lowest. The amount of time for providing input on the notification is sixty days, beginning on the day following the release.
