The Cosmetic Act B.E. 2558 (2015), by virtue of Article 5, Section One and Article 6 (13) has authorized the Minister of Public Health to release the following (draft) Notification:Establishing the standards for the alcohol deviation limits in cosmetics that contain alcohol for hand sanitizers, with a minimum of 15% and a maximum of 18%, as reported to the regulatory body.
Comment:For hand sanitizing cosmetics, "alcohol" refers to ethyl alcohol (ethanol), isopropyl alcohol (isopropanol), and n-propyl alcohol (n-propanol).
