Canada: Consultation on the regulations amending certain regulations concerning the disclosure of cosmetic ingredients

Health Canada intends to make it mandatory for cosmetic labels to list specific fragrance allergies.The Cosmetic Regulations would also be modified by the proposal.

By increasing compliance and enforcement tools, streamlining administrative procedures, and clarifying terminology, the plan would enhance oversight of cosmetics.

As part of the regulatory proposal, the Cosmetic Regulations would also be modified.

Directly provide comments to the Canadian government regarding the Draft Regulations using the online feature of the Canada Gazette. 

The last date for submitting feedback is April 22, 2023.
