Nicaragua: New resolution adopts latest Central American Technical Regulation on cosmetic products; Enforcement scheduled from January 2023

On September 02, 2022, Resolution No. 467-2022 was published in the Official Gazette which directs to replace the Central American Technical Regulation RTCA 71.03.36:07 by the new Central American Technical Regulation, RTCA 71.03.36:21 on cosmetic products. This Resolution will come into effect on January 01, 2023. Transition period for companies to align and market their products and related activities according to provisions and requirements in the new resolution is  12 months from the entry into force of RTCA 71.03.36:21.
