NIFDC opens public consultation on Six technical guidelines, including the Technical Guidelines for the Testing of Sunscreen Index of Sunscreen Cosmetics

The China National Institutes for Food and Drug Control (NIFDC) has opened a public consultation on six technical guidelines for in vitro testing, determination for sun protection factor (SPF) and waterproof performance, as well as acute inhalation toxicity testing. To standardize and guide the safety assessment of cosmetics and new raw materials, the hospital has drafted 6 technical guidelines and drafting instructions. Stakeholders can comment before March 13, 2023.
