Methyl-n-Methylanthranilate in cosmetics to be restricted from August 2022

On February 01, 2022, Regulation 2022/135 was published in the Official Journal of the European Union which amends Annex III (restricted substances) of Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. It provides for concentration limits (up to 0.1 % for leave-on products and 0.2 % for rinse-off products) and new conditions of use for Methyl-N-Methylanthranilate (fragrance ingredient). The restriction will come into effect in August 21, 2022.
