Avoiding Skin Cancer Without Harming Marine Species Market(s): Global/International

With ban on sale of sunscreen containing octinoxate and oxybenzone in Hawaii in 2018 due to their known properties of harming the marine life particularly the coral reefs, there are other alternate ways to protect skin against dangerous UV rays and prevent skin cancer. Apart from obvious alternatives lik wearing a hat and covering skin exposure by suitable clothing, use of "mineral sunscreen" such as those containing active ingredient of 20-25% zinc oxide, without tiny “nano” particles, can also prove to be beneficial.
